If you an experienced credit risk professional seeking a career change where you have the opportunity to impart your knowledge and experience to develop others, Fitch Training offers an exciting, rewarding and highly flexible career as an external trainer.
We are currently seeking an additional London or Europe based trainer to join us on a consulting basis to deliver our intermediate and advanced level Insurance, Banks and Non Bank Financial Institutions (funds and brokers) workshops.
Role profile
Fitch Training is a global provider of credit risk training offering over 50 different workshops in more than ten locations around the world. You will deliver a range of specialist courses that have been specifically tailored and developed for professionals within banks, other financial institutions, regulators and multi-lateral organisations.
It is envisaged that once you become familiar with the training material and that you yourself become trained in the delivery of the courses you will deliver between 40 to 80 training days per year and an additional 30 to 60 days developing and updating course material. You will work closely both with our team of professionals and our clients to help ensure that credit risk knowledge is kept up to date and that individuals have the best training possible in today's challenging environment.
Requirements
It is essential that you have extensive credit risk experience either as a banker, portfolio manager, investor, analyst or similar. Your experience will have been accumulated over a number of years in the financial institutions credit risk arena ideally from within a leading commercial bank, investment bank, rating agency or similar.
Market knowledge is crucial and you must keep abreast of current issues. Coupled with your outstanding credit analysis skills you must also have an in-depth appreciation of insurance and banking products, accounting and regulation.
Naturally you will be an effective communicator with well honed and proven presentation skills and excellent listening skills. Good analytic and accounting skills with a thorough understanding of the financial institutions sector are key. You must be at ease working to a planned programme as well as being flexible in your approach; flexibility, team work and multi-tasking skills as well as a willingness to travel are essential to being a successful trainer with us.
